Wallace Fox
Wallace Fox is a distinguished Cree leader from Onion Lake Cree Nation, where he served as Chief for 24 years and 6 years as a Council Member. With over 15 years of expertise in strategic leadership, program management, community development, and Indigenous affairs, he has earned a strong reputation for driving cultural transformation and economic sustainability. Fox has played a key role in advancing the social, economic, and cultural development of Indigenous communities, with a proven track record in managing budgets, designing impactful programs, and leading community-based initiatives.
His extensive training includes Strategic Leadership, Policy Development, and Life Skills Coach Training through the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technology, along with Cross-Cultural Awareness, Truth and Reconciliation, and Treaty Rights education. A passionate advocate for Indigenous self-determination, Fox is committed to fostering policy development, stakeholder engagement, and the delivery of culturally grounded programs and services. His leadership continues to inspire progress and unity across First Nations in Canada.
